Sync In Social Privacy Policy

Effective date: 1/13/2026   Last updated: 2/17/2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sync In Social LLC (“Sync In Social,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, apps, and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Scope and United States–only processing

The Service is offered only in the United States and is intended only for individuals located in the United States. We process and store information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your region.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information generated through safety and moderation operations.

Information you provide. When you create an account or use the Service, you may provide information such as your email address, display name, username, date of birth, profile photo or avatar, bio, preferences, and settings. You may also provide content you create or upload, including posts, comments, likes, and other activity on the Service. If you contact us for support or submit reports or appeals, we collect the information you include in those communications.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we may collect device and log information such as IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, app or page interactions, timestamps, crash reports, and diagnostic data. We may use cookies or similar technologies in web contexts to support sign-in, preferences, and abuse prevention. We may infer approximate location from IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly provide it through a device permission flow.

Safety, moderation, and integrity data. To help keep the Service safe, we may generate and store moderation and integrity information associated with content or accounts, such as whether media was placed into a pending or quarantined state, moderation status labels, reasons for actions taken, and metadata derived from automated analysis. We may also store logs related to abuse prevention, fraud detection, and policy enforcement.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, to protect users and the public, and to comply with law.

We use information to provide core functionality such as account access, profile display, publishing and displaying content, storing uploads, and providing user controls. We use information to secure the Service and prevent abuse, including spam prevention, fraud detection, account authentication, and enforcing rate limits. We use information to moderate content and accounts, investigate reports, and enforce our policies. We use information to communicate with you about product updates, security alerts, and support requests. We use information to improve performance, reliability, and user experience through diagnostics and product development. We use information as necessary to comply with legal obligations and lawful requests.

4. Age information and eligibility (18+ only)

The Service is intended for adults age 18 and older. We collect date of birth because it is necessary to confirm eligibility, apply age-gating, help prevent fraud and misuse, and support safety and integrity operations. If we believe date of birth information is inaccurate or falsified, if we cannot confirm eligibility, or if we determine you are under 18, we may deny access to the Service and may suspend or terminate the account where permitted by law.

5. Direct messages and communications

Direct messaging features may be part of the Service, but they may not be available for all users and may be limited or restricted based on safety, moderation, abuse prevention, policy enforcement, legal compliance, user settings, or technical requirements. If messaging is available to you, messages are not end-to-end encrypted. We may access, preserve, or review messages and related metadata when we reasonably believe it is necessary to investigate abuse, enforce policies, comply with law, protect users, or protect the Service. We may also take automated or manual actions that restrict messaging availability based on safety signals, policy violations, or eligibility concerns.

6. Media uploads, scanning, and moderation

When you upload media, the Service may place media into a pending or quarantined state and limit visibility until a review process is completed. We may use automated tools and human review to evaluate uploaded media and other content for safety, spam, abuse, and policy compliance. Automated tools can make mistakes. Where available, you may be able to appeal moderation decisions using in-app tools. We may retain moderation metadata, enforcement history, and related logs for safety, auditability, and improving moderation accuracy.

7. How we share information

We share information in limited circumstances consistent with operating the Service, protecting users, and complying with law.

Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Service, such as infrastructure, hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, and support providers. These providers may access information only as needed to perform services for us and are expected to protect it consistent with contractual obligations.

Other users and public visibility. Your profile information and content may be visible to other users depending on your settings and how you use the Service. Content you choose to publish publicly may be accessible to other users and may be shared by them.

Safety, legal, and compliance. We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms and policies, protect the rights, property, and safety of users or the public, and prevent or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the terms of this Policy or notice of changes where required.

We do not sell personal information.

8. Your choices and controls

You can update certain profile information and settings in the Service. You can choose what you post and what information you make visible, subject to the Service’s functionality. You may be able to block or report other users or content. You may request account deletion through in-app tools if available. If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify information as appropriate unless retention is required for legal obligations, security, abuse prevention, or other legitimate business purposes.

9. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, and protect the Service and users.

We generally retain account and profile data until you delete your account, subject to limited retention for backups and security purposes. We retain user content until you delete it or your account is deleted, subject to moderation and enforcement needs. We may retain logs and security events for a limited period to support abuse prevention, investigations, and system reliability. We may retain reports, appeals, and moderation metadata for reasonable periods to support safety operations, auditing, and policy enforcement.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will provide notice as required by applicable U.S. law.

11. Children’s privacy (18+ only Service)

The Service is intended only for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to use the Service. If we learn that a person under 18 has provided personal information or created an account, we will take steps to delete the information and disable or terminate the account, where permitted by law.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the Service and/or communicated by email where appropriate. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after an update becomes effective means you accept the updated Policy.
